Admin Abuse - Collateral Damage

If a "wipe out" of enchanted items does go out, one would have to be excluded, as it can be obtained normally, and that is the Power 1 bow. I'd hate to lose it

 

Personally, I dont mind the items being out there. If someone has one, the simple way to deal with the situation is to kill them, preferably with arrows when its a sword. Headshots do wonders with bows and a few people good with bows can easily take someone down, even if they have diamond armor. Enchanted armor is a different story, but I have no problems with the weapons whatsoever. I figure them being out there just gives me a better chance to actually get one.

 

lol You don't have to explain ppl how to get your enchanted items, it's dumb. I suppose it's not your job there... I thought playing in pvp has a different purpose! That all have equal rights and wins the best or the smartest not guy with stronger sword! I would call it an administrator neglect, it's not a way how to fight in pvp server! That's just it.

You get lot's of fun watching him killing people. Of course ppl want to get that thing or get rid of it... so constantly fun is coming towards you!
And before I read some of your post's , I was in better thoughts about you... you know sometimes it's better to stay silent because your posts isn't reading only 13 Yeah old minecraft players.

I hate to break it to you, but unfortunately, PvP is most often not about equality, although intelligence can help you quite a bit if you're good with tactics. However, it can often be about who has the best sword and armor. If you have a sword and everyone else has fists, for instance, I can place a fair bet that you'll last longer than anyone else, no matter your level of fairness or intelligence, as long as you just keep swinging. It's very kind that Deity is going to remove these items, but once people can get enchanting, you're still going to see plenty of people who don't have high gear and weapons being slaughtered by guys who have full enchants ... Because sometimes that's just how it goes. But sometimes it goes the other way, too. One could argue that Rome held some of the greatest minds and technology of the ancient world, and they were great conquerors, but when the time came they still fell to the barbarians.

 

Herberts your replies are starting to irritate me. Show the admins a little respect. We all don't agree with them all the time but telling them to be silent, their ideas are dumb or that they neglect things is crap. There's way more going on than you are currently aware of.

On the subject of pvp. The day it went live myself, Bilko and a few others formed Buena faction and spent 15-20k on land. We then proceeded to build a large base so we could test things out. For the most part everyone played right but then people started using the glitch exploit to get in our walls then we had two people in our own city go rogue and let others in. Besides the glitch there was nothing to complain about. People took advantage of us but we kept fighting. I don't care if someone has the Noobslayer Longsword of Death. That just means we need to team up to take him down. Luckily Deity agrees that those items should be taken out so even better for you.

All of you want this and that on pvp. Sounds too much like all the whining on the deity games threads. If enough of you come together there isnt anyone or any faction that can stand at the top and rain terror on you. You just have to come up with the right tactics.

As far as enchanted weps/armor ingame already without others being able to create it, I would say that is somewhat unfair, but meh, it's pvp which isn't really about being fair.

As far as larger factions holding all the power, the dynamics of a pvp world change rapidly. A small faction can loot a large faction if planned properly, and large factions tend to break up into smaller factions from members being bored because they can't find anyone to fight them. Treachery is also a common tactic. All that is needed to really bring down a larger faction is 1 member of that faction giving the enemies a way passed their defenses. No base is 100% secure, there are many mistakes people make when building a base, a lot of times they are easy to find, other times they take some skill to find. It's just a matter of knowing what to look for.

 

I think Enchanted items that are unobtainable is a good thing , The mods acted like gods...then got killed and dropped their items(like in real life )
and so the ppl who have taken these enchantment are technically demigods ...but most importantly like mod are kill able , so this give the pvp more fun in my eyes...because as a faction i would like to have that item at any cost ...so forming alliances to get it is a option ...or doing a big team raid ... and if in this alliance the person or faction that gets these items.
Imagine what then happens to them they are the new objective and so on .

So in the end it might add more spice to pvp cloud

ps: As mods are saying about smaller groups are powerless and have no chance....

The weapons have a durability so i do not see any problem. Let those players use it and be targeted by the whole server. (as everyone wants there weapons) When the durability is used up, the weapons will break and disappear from the game. Enchanted weapons cannot be repaired.

I'm completely willing to be suicidal and attack a person with enchanted weps in diamond armor. But that's cuz i plan to kill them and I have no regard for my own safety whatsoever

 

The items need to stay lol, i want them haha, and armor is for getting hit, I dont plan to get hit lol
