    Hmmm...Melon. Not really a block i know but I just love them for some reason. If I HAD to pick a building block however, I LOVE mossy smooth stone. Too bad you can't make it yet.

    The water block, without it nothing can grow for long, you need it for food, books(sugarcane production), intricate mob grinders, etc.
