Why do some ores turn to stone when I start mining them?

    This has happened to me a couple of times in both worlds and it sucks. Is there a reason why this happens?

    Its the anti-xray plugin. It happens to me sometimes. Many people have asked this question before. Use the search button next time.

    Is there any forum detailing the anti-xray thing? I honestly have no idea why it does that when people clearly aren't using xray. It's friggin annoying.

    yea, it is indeed anoying. the first time i saw it i thought i struck it rich. than when i hit it it turned to stone. long story short ignore them and pretend it was never there
