    All mobs despawn on world saves, pets cause far too much lag. We will not be getting pets anytime soon.

    You should be able to buy and sell pets like a pet shop

    You could also sell food for the pets

    We've got wolves and ocelots; they're 'pets'. The amount of coding this would probably take (don't know, because I dislike Javascript) is probably more than what is necessary. vanZeben has made it almost crystal clear that the Kingdoms plug-in the #1 priority (probably balancing classes after that). Also, this 'event' seems to favor those who have the time to run off into the wild looking for wolves and ocelots.

    Back to the main topic, the fact that animals move freely, any event in this would not work.

    I posted this as part of another post, but it may not get viewed there so: it would be awesome to have shops where one could buy a cat spawn egg--I would totally save up my vote money for a week to buy one (and that means I/people will be consistently voting to get it..). Any thoughts? Is it too laggy, or what? A pet shop on the main street of the Capitol would be pretty awesome and not overly difficult to implement.

    I think pets would help cause I am constantly dieing in the mine world because I have a horrible sense of time and I dont make it back alive because mobs get me when trying to 'port

    And maybe for buying pets you get a 1 use egg and a bone/raw fish but make it kinda expensive so people dont use it as an easy bone shop :p
