Make the mining place faster to reset

the mining place takes to long to reset and there is hardly any left after

 

The "mining place" resets when there have been a predefined number of Minestatus votes. At that point, ImDeity logs on and resets the "mining place". ImDeity has a life too, it cannot revolve around resetting the mining world.

 

Amd also the mine world has enough ores, yesterday i found an almost untouched jungle (except for a few floating logs), ALL the caves where unexplored, if you digged there you would find a CRAP LOAD of stuff, you are only saying what you are saying because you, like 99% of the players on this server are too lazy to actually travel a bit more, near the edge of the mine world

 

I think the reset system with votes is pretty awesome.
When the server gets bigger, the votes come in faster and it resets more often.

 

Maybe have a teleport/warp that brings you to a place that you can mine immediately instead of having to walk 500+ blocks to mine.

 

This is survival server.
Walking is part of survival.
Just walk.

With the amount of votes that it has left to reset it, it shouldn't be too much longer. I can't wait to get my hands on some iron ore!

 

On my last server pretty much everybody left because they made too much changes, e.g. adding a mod for portals, which could teleport you on nearly every place on the map.

I think walking on multiplayer servers is really important, because you see stuff other players build and you get a feeling for the distances, which is really important in my opinion for the experience of really being in this world.

PLUS in mining world you need to run this far anyways because you won't find any ores in the near spawn area with such a high amount of players mining every day.

I found that jungle first there was so much stuff!

 

Mine world is fine as it is just venture further. also if it resets to soon you wont be able to fully explore most of what you wish.

 

If you want it to reset faster, convince people to vote.

 

I like the way it is with the vote system.

 

I think the only problem is when the votes go down to 0 needed that we have to wait for someone to jump on and reset and that's what the earlier complaint was about. But yeah, when it resets it resets, nuttin you can do about it

 

i'm tired of going very,very far to a place where there isn't a mine and i can't find a place. it should reset faster.

 

I agree, the last mining world was complete trash after the first couple of days and stayed that way for the rest of the week. Instead of it being counted on votes, what about having tregularly chacked and if it has been trashed, make a new one.

 

You guys really don't go very far do you? The ones who are complaining please stop doing so because there is so much unexplored land. I got so much diamonds and gold and wood on the day before it was reset. There's always untapped resources right around the corner.

 

And the vote thing, no point convincing peeps cause everyone wants to vote for the money, that's what the votes are.

 

I really wish that instead of complaining about the mining world being trashed, you'd stop being so lazy and walk/run out a few hundred measly blocks more than the basic 500 requirement. Here's a VERY nice post by cliff777 on another thread sooooo very similar to this one:

That's just diamonds alone. The amount of iron is about 12 times higher than diamond meaning almost 1.3 million iron ores. There's also countless trees in the mining world. Long story short, suck it up and go out farther to get your stuff. I'm sorry if this sounds mean, but jeez, use the search bar next time.
