    You could make mine carts at /go mine so we dont have to run 500 blocks and/or lose food

    thats not a very good idea.

    1. someone would have to build it everytime we generate a new map
    2. it would limit the variance of where people end up once they get to the border.
    3. a chest of minecarts would get entirely cleaned out in about 2 minutes from all the random newbies. They'd have no use for 30 minecarts.. but they'd take them anyway.

    The reason we have the 500 block radius is so that the people spread out and we dont have complete destruction of the world right at the line where u can start mining.

    You could do another quest where if u complete it u get a free mine cart and u cant do it again for 5 hours

    everyone would just steal the minecarts, sell them and become rich. You could make people bring their own minecarts or have a stream for boats.

    we used to have this... when you could buy minecarts from /shop for 1 dei and travel out to mine for your gold! :)
