You have to have a class in order to get a build permit to place water in the first place.

And that only takes being a member for 5 days, playtime of 3 hours, 300 dei, 3 forum posts, and voting once. Just like it says on the portal where you go to get your build permit.

But it IS for only people who have a class. They just have to get a build permit... let's stop going around in circles.

I think you should rank up by quest exp and i think the adverizeing for merchants and nobles should have a equal delay

Advertising for towns is more important then advertising for selling stuff if you ask me.

I Think it would be nice if there was way to stack items that are normally unstackable items. It would be very helpful for merchant's with their shops. But in general it would be very helpful to all players. To help cut down on the amount of cheats people have full of buckets in particular.

We all know stacking was turned off due to it's facilitation of cake making. It also created a loophole in the survival part of the server where porkchops and such could be stacked in a players inventory.

    On a unrelated note,
    Chest :
a box, usually with a lid, for storage, safekeeping of valuables, etc.: a toy chest; a jewelry chest.
    Cheat :
to defraud; swindle: He cheated her out of her inheritance. to deceive; influence by fraud: He cheated us into believing him a hero.

I thought stacking milkbuckets didn't really help cake making at all, because as soon as you used a stack of milkbuckets, it emptied them all, and you lost your milkbuckets anyway. So it was just extra work stacking milkbuckets with no gain.

Also, Mojang recently showed a screenshot from 1.8 update where porkchops are now stackable, so I'm going to assume that all food is going to be stackable after 1.8.

One can drop one bucket at a time into the crafting box from a full stack leaving inventory space open for other items raising the amount of cakes that can be created without reaching into a chest.

That is true, but I doubt that is a huge concern with stacking and cake making at this point, since you can only sell about 30 cakes at this point before the price drops. Also, since you have to take the time to stack the buckets in the first place, it's not that great of a time savings. And since milkbucket price goes up as you buy them, you can't really stockpile milkbuckets and still make a decent profit in the long run.

Also, if they really wanted to allow stacking items, but just not milkbuckets, I'm sure they could figure that one out.

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but can you make dumping water in mining world free?

Could one of the devs explain what the rationale behind making rail construction very expensive? I had been offline for a while, so I don't know whether people abused rails in some fashion, but even as a laborer, rails are very expensive to lay down. Why is that?

It's probably so that the other classes besides laborers would have to either hire someone to lay down some rails for them, or pay a lot to do so themselves. It's all about making people interact with others(and get money out of the economy), I believe. Cause everyone knows that Deity has a burning passion towards getting rid of money.

Ok, I understand the high price for non-laborers, but it's 3 Dei per rail for Laborers as well. That will add up rather quickly for any nontrivial project, especially if mistakes are made along the way.

Mistakes are merely a process of planning or trial and error. Long railway projects seem kind of useless with the ability to teleport. But it might be a little steep, but this will all change if you get to a higher level as laborer.

Honestly, I am not fond of the posting requirement to upgrade class rank. Although on the portal it specifies that the posts must not be spam, that is essentially what the forum games topics are. While I agree that getting the community to the website and forums is a good thing, I think that there should be some system in place that makes it so people aren't just posting for the sake of posting (sometimes reviving rather old threads) .

A solution I thought of would be implementing a feature that lets you "like " someone's post, and make it so that a certain number of likes is required to upgrade. This would make it so people would put more thought into their posts on the chance that they could earn some likes from fellow Deitians, instead of half a topic being posts like "lol I agree ".

While we are on that subject, what exactly qualifies as a great construction? Would someone's house in their town count? And I can see that having only staff members approving them causing a bottleneck effect later on when more people are at the stage to upgrade their class. I suggest in the future possibly giving higher level classes being able to approve those constructions, at least to cut down on the staff having to rush around to everyone. Though I'm not quite sure if this would even be possible.

Thanks for reading all this. :)

Old Threads can be revived when needed, and forum games are all placed in general discussions, where they are meant to be.

One build per level is required so people don't drain the staff's attention to often immo.
Tough there is some truth in your words.
