      Hi Micklen, since your my mentor of sorts, if you don't mind I'd like to share my thoughts with you about the horse. I have the horse facing town but now I think it would show better from a side view. Like facing your warrior on the hill. And after making an outline in creative the top half of him appears too small from the ground so I increased the size of him as he goes up.

        I think the scale will need to be slightly bigger, to get more detail. Much as I had to do on the knight. I also like the idea of it looking away from town. Symbolically, statues facing out show growth, creativity, and expansion.
        For the best view on the live map, it should face the west (like my statue) or south. South would give it the best profile I think.

        Ok, thanks! I'll scale it up to 80 like you said before. That would make him a little longer too. And I was thinking no one wants to live under horse bummm... From the houses a side view would look nicer. So I'll make him face West, horses like looking at their master.

      Do u think this will work at the scale we need. I'm gonna grid it out now in photoshop to see how blocky it will be. It might be too ambitious but it's noble :-) with some armor.

        I was thinking of a horse as well! You should be able to get good enough definition by making it about 80 blocks high. The hardest parts will be turning the ankles. But you may be able to make that look good by just using different colors. (Like socks on the horse.)
