What do people want when they are out of things to do? Get rare things and brag!!

    Chest+emerald block+chest
    Creeperhead+emerald block+creeperhead
    Chest+emerald block+chest

= A random book in a chest for say a set of ten with each having a small quote from the server. This could be a joke, a deity saying, heck even a Yoda phrase. Having this be decently hard to acquire, it means that very few people will ever get the complete set, people might even end up trading doubles like playing cards creating more money transfers, a dire need.

If implemented, I see this as either working really well or failing miserably.

We have nice shapeless recipes for gold tools and gold armor, what about making a shapeless recipe for gold pressure plates using iron pressure plate and glowstone dust?
    deitycrafting-goldpressureplate2.png
i am not obsessed with gold pressure plates, they just make so pretty doilies on tables :)

And some recipe for red sand:
    deitycrafting-redsand.png
it can give one piece or up to 5 pieces, maybe randomly 1 to 5 per crafting.

The recipe for quartz is too expensive (and too slow to obtain) .. you should encourage people to build in other materials beside the usual. I would suggest melting Ferrous Crystal (with redstone block) to yield 9 or 16 quartz instead of just the one.
Same goes for the recipe for netherack.

It is silly to have only the rich build in uncommon materials. (and only small constructions, for even for them it is near impossible)

Not sure if this goes here but I have a few proposed recipe output suggestions (i like all the current recipes, i just feel that some should get a bit more then what they are currently giving out.)

Two or three ink sacs instead of 1
5 or six endstone instead of 1
two gold carrots instead of one (its now pretty expensive to breed horses, poor minie :( )
    two obsidian instead of one
three powered rails instead of one (the vanilla recipe is 6. I feel this is way to expensive for it to be feasible for people to use these rails)
    two slimeballs instead of one
four bottles of enchanting instead of one
    six netherrack instead of one
two to four quartz instead of one

I also think water bottles should hydrate four rotten flesh instead of two (although it was kind of buggy for me and one bottle was getting me one rehydrated flesh)

I personally love the new recipe system although i feel that some recipes are overpriced. Would like to see some changes soon :p

Alright, just noticed this today. There's no brewing stand in the /go shop. In order to craft a brewing stand, you need a blaze rod, which is unobtainable except from the /go shop, which doesn't have any anymore. Unless there is a recipe forthcoming, I'm curious as to how we can craft blaze rods with the new plugin. So far I can only offer one suggestion (which I'm sure will need some modification as it would be too cheap to craft a blaze rod with):

Glowstone Dust (upper center, middle left, middle right, lower center), Skeleton Bone (center).

Still feel this is too cheap to craft a Blaze Rod with, so any suggestions would be welcome.

I would suggest a multitiered crafting recipe or something along those lines.

Create a "Diamond Incrusted Rod" with Diamond Blocks (perimeter) and a Stick / Skeleton Bone (Center). This could then be placed into the recipe you suggested replacing the Skeleton Bone.

Suggestion, let melting Ferrous Crystal (with redstone block) yield 4 nether crystals + 2 nether Crystals (40% chance) + 1 nether crystal (20% chance), and something simular for the other recipes

I'd like to do something like that with smelting recipes, but they don't have the ability to do a % chance like the crafting recipes.

Even though that would help with the quantity of nether quarts, it would still take too much time/redstone blocks

Better solution, Ferrous Crystal melts to Hot Nether Crystal , craft with bucket of water yields 2 to 5 Nether crystals

Maybe a tweak for Quartz is coming soon, but here is my suggestion anyway:

My target was to make the recipe cheaper, faster to obtain but not too much (buckets are not stackable making the crafting a bit cubersome) and, hopefully, allow the value of quartz to be shared with the less fortunate ones (Bones, flint, lava buckets and maybe granite).

    Some numbers:
    -Ice: 0.44 dei each
    -Granite: 0.02 dei each
-Lava Bucket: 4 dei each (based on its fuel value/coal)
    -Bone: 0.50 each
    -Flint: 0.38 each

    Total Cost: 10,16 Dei.

So yea, it is funny because - using current mall prices, this recipe is as expensive as the Ferrous Crystal one, but it doesn't feel like it (to me at least). I think that is because the ingredients for this recipe feel more obtainable and worth spending than one block of iron.

I believe this recipe would help shake the market a bit more, it could be used to increase the value of Granite (not so sold as its 'brother' stones), all you need to do is to increase the requirement (e.g. 8 pieces of Granite - 1 Weakened Granite) and, although the current crafting cost is almost the same as it was to buy quartz from /go shop, this recipe for Quartz would most likely cause a rush for some of its ingredients that still have potential for exploration - because they aren't yet being mined to exhaustion like Iron is.
This rush, after a week or so, would make the Quartz recipe cheaper than 10 Dei at the same time it brings value to flint, bones (like the current recipe did) and lava - with a little stretch of imagination I can see /mine trips for lava becoming a thing (maybe making Fire Resistance potions and armor more interesting) and enchanting Fortune Shovels wouldn't be a complete waste.

For a little twist/balancing, I have added a 50-50 chance to get either Quartz or Diorite from the final recipe. The risk would increase the value of Quartz (or in this case soften the price reduction) and could even be a chance for players to sell Weakened Granite for cheaper than Quartz to avoid the risk themselves, while risk takers could try to get some cheaper Quartz (or expensive Diorite).

That is my book about a Quartz recipe suggestion !

    Nerdy Trivia:
    -Quartz plays a big role in the composition of Granite and in Minecraft you can craft Granite by combining Quartz and Diorite;
-Ancient Egyptians used to burn wood on top of Granite then quickly pour water on it, the thermal shock made Granite much weaker and that's how they could sculpt it into blocks used for the Pyramids and temple's obelisks. :D

    Code:
    For Smc

    CRAFT Weakened Granite
    [ice] + [water_bucket] + [ice]
    [air] + [lava_bucket] + [air]
    [air] + [stone:granite] + [air]
    = 100% stone:granite
    @ name <red>Weakened Gratine
@lore <white>This piece of granite is full of cracks after a thermal shock.

    CRAFT Quartz
    [flint] + [flint] + [flint]
    [bone] + [stone:granite] + [bone]
    [flint] + [flint] + [flint]
    = 50% quartz
    = 50% stone:diorite

Hmmm ... that is still alot of work to get even HALF a damn quartz .. this is worse then before. We want to use quartz as a building material, not as a timesink.

Change the end 'reward' to 1 to 4 quartz and people might actually start using to build stuff

Agreed, Quartz would be awesome to build with in main. Need a cheaper recipe.

    1 String + 1 bone meal + 1 string
    1 bone meal + 1 white wool block + 1 bone meal
    1 string + 1 bone meal + 1 string

Product - 1 Loomed White Wool Block - (Learning how to weave, Wool Works 101)

    FURNACE;

Fuel - 1 Polished Diorite Block
Cook- 1 Loomed White Wool Block
    Product - 1 Quartz Block
