    Sinister greetings, fellow Deitians!
    You might have forgotten, but the creepy Halloween night is just one month away! To celebrate this we will run 3 contests!     ​


    Halloween Art Contest
    A shout out to all artists on the server! Halloween will be the first theme of a series of art competitions. In these competitions all kinds of art is allowed, except for writing as that is covered in the Writing Contest (see below)!
    Basically every form of art is allowed as long as it is related to Minecraft and the theme of Halloween (of course forum rules found here apply as well).
    So let’s show your creativity and post your art works in this thread! More rules are explained in the thread.    ​

    This competition runs from the 28th of September until the 22nd of October. Only one entry is allowed and the winners will be picked by a jury.

    Halloween Build Contest
    The Halloween Build Contest is an individual contest regarding the theme of Halloween. This contest consist of three rounds:
    Round 1 - Haunted House
    Round 2 - Spooky Maze
    Round 3 - Halloween Havoc (builders pick a Halloween topic that is different from both previous rounds). Let your creativity show!
    The rounds start after the Spleef Event (Wednesdays) and end the following Tuesday at midnight. Which means that:
    Round 1 is from the 2nd to the 8th of October
    Round 2 is from the 9th to the 15th of October
    Round 3 is from the 16th to the 22nd of October
    CONTEST CLOSED.

    Halloween Wiki Tales contest
    For all those spirits that tend to express in written words, we have the Halloween writing contest. This time we need the most scary and eerie stories about the ImDeity Kingdoms. We like to know what the NPCs might experience throughout Halloween. What might happen in the Capital. Or maybe something else that you relate to Halloween in the Kingdoms. But please refrain from mainly writing about the staff members. We all have been written enough about. All story entries should be put in a convo with WikiTales from now on by October 22nd, 2013, 5 pm EST.

    Halloween Havoc means that you the builders should themselves have to choose and build something related to Halloween (which is different from the first two themes; Haunted House and Spooky Maze). :) I hope you get it now? ;)

    Oh and the trick and treats.. well they will come later! *evil laughter*

    Don't think that you will be outdone! Just make the artwork, trust me just do it. ;) I felt that for a long time too, still do sometimes, but I don't care anymore and just enjoy making art instead! :D *As well as that there are more winners, not just one!*

    Haven't decided for sure, but I'm thinking 64, 96 & 128 for rounds 1, 2 & 3 respectively.
    None of the plots will be cleared between the rounds and everyone will be judged on all 3 together.

    Build Contest sign ups are now closed. Last one to sneak in 10 minutes late was Speedy b/c I just got home 30 minutes ago, hehe

    I will be starting a convo with everyone that signed up to give you your warp assignments for round 1.
    I have 16 participants signed up.
    I will be keeping the plot sizes the same as what I put in my previous post.

    Round 1 plots will be 64x64 and will be set up in a 4x4 grid.

    Everything "should" be ready for after spleef but if not it will be by the end of the night.
