It kind of takes the feeling of being in a town away... You type /t spawn but you end up in your house so it's equivalent to using /home. Donations would be ruined if you could do this, even if you had to pay a very large sum to get the /t spawn to your home.

I completely agree with you on this, but given that a lot of the newer players are unaware of the fact that there's towns, they stick to wilderness, so they might disagree with that.
    But, I agree totally :)

Ya I have been walking around in the wild before and have found civilizations of 5+ people all living in the same house and talking through signs on the wall. I'm quite shocked that some people would be on this server long enough to build 4 houses and a big farm and have not found out about towns or practically anything else our server has to offer. I wonder how many other people live in the wild under the radar and never talk to anyone but their friends from school...

There should be a message that appears when you run out of /homes. "Oh no! You have used up all of your /homes! Donate for more /homes or join a town to teleport close to your home..." or something along those lines.

Well, i have not seen anything from a developer(ish) standpoint yet, but this would not be to hard to implement. Depending on how the amount of homes is setup. If it is a variable in a config file, or something. Easy Peasy, although, if it were something using the Deity-API (MySql) then it would be a little bit more of a challenge, but still, not too hard.

Pretty much, you would need to increase the variable, that stores the homes you have left, in the vote listener class, that is used with votifier, if it is done the non-sql way, then it would be a few lines of code, boom bam, done. Using SQL, it would be a little bit tougher, but still achievable.

Now, the thing coming from a donor standpoint. I paid for my /homes, so i think that it should be one per 2 votes, or 1 vote, although i would personally like 2 better. But it is up to an admin to decide, and make that decision. In all honesty, i dont think that this will be implemented, but if it is, i guess that would be cool as well.

PS- I like aruhzona's idea about changing the message when you run out.

But if there is a /home that is infinite, no one will vote anymore or donate. Plus if they can just go home, the town would not make any money from town spawn costs. When you think about it, that makes alot of money and that could seriously ruin a town. I think the best bet is still to get them from voting or from buy. That way the server gets more popular and the town can still make money.

I see what you and everyone mean, but there are other benefits for donors than /home
