    Hey Everyone,
    BTFoverload coming at you with another killer suggestion.

    I was thinking about the town board today, and how if a mayor goes on holiday he/she can at least set the town board so that nothing happens in his absence but when a resident goes on holiday the most he/she can do is leave a sign which may or may not be read, And this got me thinking.

    What if we could include a player status command, such as /res stat (message), it'd be visible with the /res command.

    This crudely edited image shows roughly what a status would look like.

    As mayors always /r a member before kicking them this could prevent many accidental kickings and could be used for more too.

    Thanks, i'm not sure wether it'd be used much either but it'd be nice to have it there, i had to kick members recently and i ended up keeping some of the over 30 day ones because its summer and there was no way of telling if they are on holiday, at least a status allows me to say "hey you had a status, if you had wanted me to know then you should have updated it to tell me you're on holiday"

    True, and i suppose Mayors could use it, and advertise it's use. Like make the board message "Please update your status to let us know if you aren to be inactive or something similar"

    I hope we can get something like this in Kingdoms 2.0

    This had actually occured to me a while back, but I completely forgot to post it as a suggestion. Great thinking, btf. If utilized well, I think this could be very beneficial. It could also be used if someone plans on being AFK for a period of time and they want their friends to know.

    Deity could also integrate it into the portal like the /mail system so that people who have problems and can't connect to the server for a while still have a way of setting it.

    What we do I Wraught is we tell you to post on the town thread so you don't get demoed. Agreed almost no one except maybe me does that but if they really cared about their house Rey would post. Although I really do like this idea and I assume it's fairly easy to install as far as installing stuff is I don't think it's necessary. Posting on a town thread to keep your plot helps people be more active on the forums. But that's just my two cents I do like this idea though. :D

    Excellent idea BTF. Yeah, this will help when checking inactive town members, at least those who learn to use it. Also i can set afk status so everyone will know why i dont answer his /tell.
    I would like to have both ways to set status, ingame "/r status text" so i will not have to launch browser, and on portal so i will be able to use it when not ingame (you know, "cannot connect to minecraft.net").

    Just a dedicated player my friend, I notice what's missing after a while, usually when I get annoyed, I had to kick all the people who couldnt pay tax. some of them were 31 days gone but obviously with summer holidays i dont know if they've quit or are on holiday.
