A Forum for Factions? [ Done ]

I was thinking, as people seem to be very enthusiastic about their factions, but as not all factions need to be or are attached to towns in the main world, that a separate forum for factions, or maybe a subforum, would be a good idea? Perhaps this is something already in the works, but I thought I'd put it out there.

For instance, I belong to a town in main, but I'm thinking of starting my own small faction, for fun and to find out if I even can pull it off ... It would be nice to have a place on the forums where I could plan/plot/recruit with my separate faction, without having to cross it with the discussions on main or banishing it to conversations, where it may be less accessible and have a limited number of people be able to be involved.

 

A PvP forum would be better considering that ImDeity is now heavily linked to PvP elements, with an individual sub-forum dedicated to factions to complement it. I think I may have read somewhere that Deity posted something about it.. I can't seem to find which thread he posted it in though.

 

That sounds fantastic. Maybe there could be Hunger Games and PvP event/arena subsections as well.

Though I haven't read the same thing as Kassial, I probably missed it, I think Deity will add this when the pvp world gets off it feet, before the reset there were only about 100-200 unique people that went there from the main server to the pvp server, probably even less. I would like to see it tough

 

Excellent, I'm glad to hear that it's at least being talked about and that people think this is a good idea! ^_^ Personally, though the server may be less visited than the Main and Mine worlds, I know that a good portion of the active members of our town spend quite a bit of time there, and I feel certain that it'd be great for them to have a place to discuss the faction that wasn't muddled in with all the actual Town discussion on our official thread.

I think it would be a great place for factions to have their own official threads. Then we could kind of see who's out there, beyond the list on the server, and it would be a place where people could more easily carry on diplomacy or war declarations. There are lots of recruitment, discussion and other types of posts started in the General and Kingdoms forums about PvP that would probably do well, if not better, in their own subforum, as they would be more easily spotted by someone specifically looking for discussion on PvP/factions. Not that anyone needs convincing, since it seems like everyone thinks this is a good idea (even if it doesn't actually happen , but I just thought I'd expand on what I was thinking. ^_^

 

I've decided to move this to Approved Suggestions. As I feel as though this could be potentially implemented. It's more likely to see a release once the PvP world has reached it's final stages and/or is finalised.

 

I really agree with your idea it's awesome. I was thinking of starting a faction too do it would suite me. However I don't know how so I'm going to ask here instead of starting a new thread.

 

I think this is a great idea I have been on pvp for a bit now and no one really talks about it on this sight so another forum for pvp would be Great
