    I don't want to get technical again... :) but since everyone on Earth would be wiped out, there would be no one on Earth that could calculate a return window for the astronauts on the International space station to return. So they'd be guessing or just taking their chances and probably die during reentry or deflected off the atmosphere and out into space.

    The ISS isn't really designed to be used without a huge support team on the ground.
