Rovince04's FAQ for newbies

Hey, Rovince04 here.
I always see people asking these questions, so I might as well make a list to answer them.

Q: Where can I build/mine?
To build, you must go the wilderness by going 1500 blocks away from spawn (You can also use the portals for easy travel), for mining/woodcutting you gotta go to the mining world through /go mine,

Q: How do I lock my chests?
You can join a town and get a plot, it will automatically lock your chests, you can also donate to get LWC

Q: What if I don't want to join a town?
Well. You can either put blocks over your chests or hide it very well, It doesn't really matter if you got stolen/griefed from, Admins/mods can check your chest and jail the stealer/griefer ( You will get your stuff back ) Same as griefing, mods will check it and admins will restore it.

Q: How do I join a town?
,You get invited by an assistant or a mayor of a town. You get recruited through the /recruit channel so be sure to watch it, or you can just ask in /recruit.

Q: How do I set up a portal account

Q: How can I get a class?
You need to set up a portal account first (above). Then, go to imdeity.com/portal and complete all necessary requirements.

Q: Who are the staff members?
Staff members are noticeable with their tags
[Admin, SubAdmin, HeadDev, HeadMod, SrMod, Mod]

(Suggestion: memberlist.php?mode=leaders)

Q: How do I get to the mall?
Type /go mall [MALL IS CLOSED AT THE MOMENT]

Q: How do buy or sell stuff at the mall?
To buy stuff type right click the sign ; you can read the sign over the chests if there is a letter B means that you can buy that particular item
To sell stuff type left click the sign ; You can read the sign over the chest if there is a letter S means that you sell that particular item [MALL IS CLOSED AT THE MOMENT]

Q: How do I /sethome?




Normal members can use the /home command 20 times You can use the command infinite times only if you donate. Please visit http://www.imdeity.com/donate

Q: How do I add someone in my friend list?
You must type /r add-friend [name]

Q: How do I check someone's profile?
Type /r [name]

Q: How do I PM other people in-game
You can do that by using /tell [name] [msg] , or if you're having long conversations with that person type /tell [name] and just chat normally

Q: How do I mail someone?
Type /mail ? for all the details [MAIL IS DOWN]

Q: How do I pay people?
You can do that by typing /pay [name] [amount]

Q: It's saying that no one can hear me, why?
You're talking in local chat, you can only chat with other people within 100 blocks
Here's some useful commands to chat.
/l - Used for chat when your next to someone
/tell [name] Used for chat when your having a 1 on 1 conversation.
/g - for talking about the server.
/h - you can use this for asking help, just type in /h [problem question]
/recruit - a channel for recruiting players to towns or asking to join a town
/ot - for off-topic stuff, such as minecraft in general, the weather, politics, etc
/pvp - pvp stuff, such as challenges
/trade - You can sell,buy and trade items here.

Q: How do I repair tools/armor?
You do this by placing an iron block, you start repairing with wood, and so.
NOTE: You need the appropriate ingot/material for the tool. e.g Wooden planks for wood tools, Iron ingots for iron tools.

Q: How do I do quests?
There are different NPCs you can approach around the spawn.
Just hit them and they will tell you the instructions or commands to go on with the quest


Q: What does a nobility,merchant,craftsman do?

Q: Is nether enabled here?
No and it will be most likely disabled for a long time. [I received rumors that nether and end will come, RUMORS]

Q: What's TeamSpeak?
It's a voice chat server like ventrilo or mumble
Imdeity Kingdoms Teamspeak Ip --> ts.imdeity.com

Q: How do I put colored letters in my sign?
Type &1-7 or &a-f then the text.
Example &3 Im a noob.

Q: How do I place water, redstone and other items that I cant place
You have to be a craftsman LEVEL 1 (Labourer). Choose your class in the portal page.

Q: Which town is the best?
In my opinion, every town is [but not the ones who the owners are *****es]
Theres no really "A best town" they are all equal. Thats why we are not allowed to bash or diss other towns.

Q: How do you get [insert random rare item here]
Most of these items are drops from MCMMO, a skills plugin for a server.
[NOTE: MCMMO IS HERE BUT FOR TESTING PURPOSES ONLY]
Look into the wiki for more info on all the skills.
NOTE: The drop table you see in the wiki is not the same as the server has. So dont refer to it.

Q: How do I make a town?
You can make a town if you're a lord and has 50k.

Q: Help! Someone Stole from me what should I do?
You can make a ticket by typing /ticket new [problem]

If someone from your town stole from you, unless its really big or valuable, then the staff are not allowed to deal with it. Your town must.

Q: How do I sell gold?
Gold can be sold to Pennybags at spawn. He is near the mall.

Ahh, that cant be to hard to fix, just place a block wherever the water is flowing, and this is not a proper question for my FAQ, I can only put server questions.

Don't make a fountain in a to small room, and add some water blocking blocks to prevent water flowing away from your fountain, into your house.

 

Im taking more questions as long as it's related to the server!
