    Introduction
Hello peers of ImDeity, today, I MGBroadcast will be properly showing and helping you on how to use our chat channels. We will review eight of the main chat channels on ImDeity which include:
    1. Help channel: /h to quick message
    2. Global channel: /g to quick message
    3. Off-Topic channel: /ot to quick message
    4. Recruit channel: /recruit to quick message
    5. Trade channel: /trade to quick message
    6. Local channel: /l to quick message players in an area of 100 blocks to you
    7. PvP channel: /pvp to quick message
    8. Tell channel /tell for 1 to 1 conversations
    Channel Basic:
Before we continue, we will quickly go over a few channel basics. We will start off with the rules which apply to all channels. Which are but not limited to:
    • Do not spam channels
    • Do not use vulgar language
    • No Hate Symbols
    • No Phallic Symbols
    • Do not bash other Members or Towns
    • Type legibly
    • Do not use caps
    • Type in English
    • Use Common sense
Now, we will quickly go over on how to chat in channels. To chat in any of the above channels, type in game "/(channel) (message)" For example to chat in global we will type "/g hello" with "/g" being our channel and "hello" being our message.

    1. Help Channel:

We will begin with one of the most important and constantly misused channels. Which of course is the help channel or /h. The proper usage of this channel would be for server related help questions. Specifically issues that are not ticket-worthy or question which directly connect in some aspect to the server. For example a proper question to ask in /h would be “How to choose a class" or "What to do if I have been stolen from" as these questions are server related. The help channel is strictly for help question related to the server, I cannot stress this enough. An incorrect way to use this channel would be by asking questions like "what is 1+1" or "how do you make (item)" as they are in no way related to the server. Any improper use of this channel can be punished by mute, jailing, ban or how the staff sees fit. Now the /h channel is not only for asking questions, but for answering them too. When answering them you should be certain, you are giving the other person proper information. If you do not have an answer for them, do not reply with something like "IDK" as you are in no way contributing to an answer. With this being said, if someone asks what seems to be a simple question to you do not reply with "Are you stupid?" as you are in no way contributing to an answer and are breaking rules. You can also ask any questions on any other channel so don’t be afraid not to. Also Town Recruitment, Trade, PvP should not be on this channel; instead in their desired channels.

    2. Global Channel:
The next channel we will be discussing is the Global channel aka /g. The global channel is also related to chat about the server. This channel is mainly used to discuss and chat with other players about the server/events/ideas etc. It should be noted that you should not have personal conversation or 1 to 1 conversations here and should be taken to /tell instead. Of course all basic rules apply here too. However, even though this channel is for server related subjects, things like Town Recruitment, Trade, PvP should not be in global; instead in their desired channels.

    3. Off-Topic Channel:
The next channel we will discuss is the off-topic channel aka /ot. This channel is for anything in general that is not related to the server or anything you would like to chat about. Now even though this is the off-topic channel all rules still apply to this channel with the exception of typing in English; as any language can be spoken on this channel. Once again Town Recruitment, Trade, PvP should not be on this channel; instead in their desired channels.

    4. Recruit channel:
The next channel we will discuss is the Recruit channel aka /recruit. This channel is specifically for those who are looking to join a town. You basically use this channel by typing “/recruit I am looking for a town” and someone might respond to you and help you. Now, at times some towns may not be recruiting at the moment. Please do not spam the channel by constantly repeating yourself; if no one answers you, please try again at a later time. All rules apply on this channel as well and please keep trade, pvp, general discussions etc. or what is not related to towns off this channel and use the correct channel.

    5. Trade Channel:
The next channel we will be discussing is the trade channel aka /trade. The trade channel is specifically were you conduct trade or any trade related things. An example of how you could use this channel is “/trade I am selling (item)” and if anyone is looking for said item they might contact you. Trade is just as if you were trading/selling items in real life. Please note if no one wants to buy, do not spam by repeating yourself multiple times instead wait and trade later on. All basic rules apply here too. Any pvp, recruit or general discussing which is not related in any way to trade should be discussed in their proper channel.

    6. Local channel:
The local channel aka /l can be used in various ways. In local chat you can conduct trade, recruitment, chat etc. However you should note that anyone within 100 blocks can hear your conversations. Remember that just because this is local chat it does not mean you can break the rules however with the exception that you can speak any language here too.

    7. PvP channel:
The next channel we will be discussing is the PvP channel aka /pvp. The PvP channel is for Player vs Player related chat. For example when there are PvP events, you can use this channel to discuss about them. You can also use this channel to call other players to PvP with you. Note that all same rules apply here and recruitment, trade etc should be in their desired channel.

    8. Tell channel:
The tell or /tell channel is for private conversation or conversation in general between you and another person. To use this channel we will type "/tell (name) (message)". Although these conversations are private and are up to your and the others person discretion, if the chat rules above are broken and it is found offensive to the other person, if reported (screenshots) there is a possibility that you will suffer the consequences that the staff sees fit.

    Notes:
    • This guide was created by me after seeing how chat channels are used.
    • Remember some of the examples are just that examples and can be worded however you like
    • Before asking question in help look at the ImDeity Wiki or search the forums
    • If you consider anything is wrong with this post please mail me
    • This isn’t a guide on how you should conduct trades or recruit people etc. It is just a basic guide that you should use to know if you are properly using the channels
    • I want to thank Riillaith for helping me with a few typo edits

Yes you can find a bit of information, mainly commands, however this is a detailed guide on all the channels and a clearer explanation on what the channels are for and how they should and should not be used which isn't anywhere on the wiki.
